Environmental conservation
The Front for Climate Change is committed to environmental conservation through a multifaceted approach that includes tree planting initiatives aimed at actively restoring degraded lands, moving beyond mere sustainability to rebuilding natural systems, enhancing biodiversity and creating resilient communities through methods like agroforestry, assisted natural regeneration and integrating indigenous land use knowledge involving smallholder farmers and public institutions such as schools and churches.
Livelihood Support
The Front for Climate Change livelihood support projects are designed to build climate resilience and improve the well-being of vulnerable communities through sustainable, environmentally conscious initiatives.
By engaging smallholder farmers in practices such as beekeeping, kitchen gardens, and agroforestry, we not only protect ecosystems but also enhance income-generating opportunities. Our promotion of climate-smart farming strengthens food security and supports long-term agricultural productivity.
We also facilitate access to energy-saving technologies like ecological stoves, reducing household energy costs while protecting the environment.
Research & Advocacy
The Front for Climate Change advances climate resilience and environmental conservation through research-driven community-based interventions while advocating for inclusive climate justice policies that enhance rural livelihoods and ecosystem restoration. We champion climate justice by amplifying the voices of those most affected by climate change, ensuring they are included in decision-making processes and have access to resources for adoption and resilience.
